My Credentials

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are food and nutrition experts who have met the following criteria to earn the RDN credential:

  • Completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree at a US regionally accredited university or college and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

  • Completed an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies. Typically, a practice program will run six to 12 months in length.

  • Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

  • Completed continuing professional educational requirements to maintain registration.

Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)

The Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) credential is the premier professional sports nutrition credential in the United States.

CSSDs are registered dietitians who provide safe, effective, evidence-based nutrition services for health, fitness, and athletic performance. The CSSD was developed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the nation's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. CDR is an organizational member of the National Organization for Competency Assurance. Learn more.

Master of italian cuisine

The Italian Culinary Institute’s (ICI) longest running all-inclusive program presents the most thorough spectrum of Italian Haute Cuisine in Italy. Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)

The Certified Lactation Counselor® (CLC®) certification identifies a professional in lactation counseling who has demonstrated the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to provide clinical breastfeeding counseling and management support to families who are thinking about breastfeeding or who have questions or problems during the course of breastfeeding/lactation.
