Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425ΛF.
2. Peel carrots and cut into about 1/2-inch thick strips (see picture).
3. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
4. Drizzle with avocado oil and using spatula mix the carrots to coat all sides.
5. Sprinkle with Himalayan salt and pepper.
6. Place in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes until browned on the edges.
These are one of my favorite sides that fills my fry craving and honestly? They have way more flavor than french fries. Donβt get me wrong I still love some good thin and crispy french fries, but these are the real deal while providing you with so many more nutrients. Also, to clear up soem confusion carrots are NOT a considered a starch. They do contain some carbs, but not enough that you will have to worry about how many you eat!
