Hibiscus tea is by far Pat’s and my favorite tea to sip on hot or cold for many reasons.
The flavor is so good, similar to a berry tea. It’s naturally caffeine free so it helps me reach my hydration goal in a delicious way.
But best of all are the health benefits. There are a wide range of them, however I would like to point out two in particular.
1. Hibiscus tea has been shown to lower blood pressure in pre-hypertensive and mildly hypertensive adults.
2. In a study conducted in 2014, researchers found that consumption of hibiscus tea has the ability to help reduce obesity, abdominal fat and improve non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
This is powerful stuff, but most importantly it just tastes so damn good!
